Statement

Statement: I have a sculptural / installation practice that is concerned with finding ways to examine perception, interaction and exchange. The practice is process driven and through a structure of mapping; physical, geographic and liminal spaces are explored. One of my concerns is to communicate, to do this I use a variety of methodologies and processes to create visual interactions that try to enable diverse and broader interpretations of the spaces we inhabit.

‘All we need’, a sculpture installation utilizing an animated still image of my optic nerve taken at the National Optometry clinic in DIT Kevin Street, is my most recent work and is on exhibition in Lodz, Poland as part of the CAMOUFLASH International artists meeting at the Patio Art Centre. The exhibition is curated by Mariusz Soltysik and Aurelia Mandziuk. www.patio.art.pl.
